A doll haven awaits with all your favorites from the fifties  - American Character, Arranbee, Buddy Lee, Cosmopolitan, Effanbee, Ideal, Madame Alexander, Nancy Ann Storybook, Terri Lee and Vogue. Featured above is a 12" Betsy Wetsy doll by Ideal, 1950-1954. Never removed from her box, this darling doll seems frozen in time.  She is dressed in her flannel diaper, undershirt and pink and white knit booties. Her original wrist tag is intact. Still wrapped in original cellophane are an extra  flannel diaper and pins, glass nursing bottle, Lifebuoy soap, washcloth, flannel wipes and flannel print kimono. She is sure to please the most discriminating collector!

Estate Bears

A fabulous collection of bears from the estate of an avid collector is available at Cagneys in the Lake Avenue Bazaar. Most are Artist Editions;  Mark & Sandy Hudson, Lin Chamberlain, Marie Zimmermann, Marcia Sibol and Vicky Lougher are a few of the artists represented. Several 'play bears' are also available, along with numerous furniture pieces and accessories. Perfect for gift giving - everyone needs a bear!

Rare Hahn Bookends
'Sportsman's Friend'

Rare, signed bookends are among the treasures to be found in Cagneys showcase located at the front of the Mall. Shown here is a pair of seated Russian Wolfhounds by Hahn. Made of iron, they are approximately 6 1/2 " tall and are stamped 'HAHN' on the back, along with 'Sportsmans Friend' on the front. They are striking and are seldom seen.  A wonderful group of old books and book sets is also available.

Also in the front showcase are collectibles from the Columbian Exposition and Century of Progress that are worth the trip to see! Shown above is a signed Libbey Glass Co. paperweight which is in excellent condition. Not visible in the photo is a tiny 'tear' below her eye and a 'beauty mark' near her mouth, which are inclusions in the glass. This stunning piece is almost haunting in its beauty.
